Want to Participate in Our Overindulgence Research?

The Overindulgence Project at Concordia University, St. Paul, headed by Drs. David J. Bredehoft, Jean Illsley Clarke, and Connie Dawson need you for our online research studies.

Participation in any of the studies is completely voluntary, and you may drop out of them at any time. These studies all comply with University, American Psychological Association, and American Counseling Association guidelines for the protection of human subjects and of your online privacy.

These studies usually take 10-30 minutes and may involve multiple questionnaires. The process is completely confidential. At the conclusion of each study the aggregate results will be published on our research web page and made available to parents, parent-educators, and other professionals who are concerned about overindulgence, what it does to children, and what to do instead

  • Open to all fathers who wish to participate.

  • By participating in this 20-25 minute study, you will help us understand the connections between personality traits of fathers and their parenting styles. Participants will be informed of our research findings upon completion of this study through our newsletter and on the "Our Research Webpage". Click on the link above to enter the study.
